CLEARCRAWL / TERMS
Terms of Service
The basic rules for using Clearcrawl’s website crawling and SEO reports.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Accounts and eligibility
Clearcrawl is operated as a sole trader in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and keep your sign-in details secure. You can stop using the service and request account deletion through the Contact form.
Using the crawler and reports
Only submit websites that you own or are authorised to crawl. You are responsible for having permission to access the sites and for complying with applicable laws and site instructions. ClearcrawlBot identifies itself, follows robots.txt, and paces requests; see Crawler behaviour.
Reports are informational and may not identify every issue. They are not a promise of search rankings, traffic, indexing, or any other result.
Subscriptions, trials, and cancellation
Paid plans start with a seven-day trial and require a payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected plan will be charged automatically and renew monthly or annually as shown at checkout.
You can cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewal; access may continue until the end of the current period as shown in your account. Clearcrawl does not offer voluntary refunds, except where a refund is required by law.
Your content and Clearcrawl
You keep the rights you have in the websites and material you submit. You allow Clearcrawl to access and process the information needed to run crawls, prepare reports, and operate and protect the service.
The Clearcrawl name, branding, software, and service materials belong to Clearcrawl or its licensors. Do not copy, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the service’s safeguards.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep Clearcrawl available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or suspend features, or suspend an account where needed for non-payment, misuse, security, or legal reasons.
To the extent permitted by law, Clearcrawl is not responsible for indirect losses or outcomes on third-party search engines or websites. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Changes and governing law
We will publish the current Terms here and update the date above when they change. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.
